Wedding Cakes
Congratulations!! you’re engaged. You’ve set a date and you would like to start getting things booked in. There is no ‘too soon’ term at Claire’s Cakery. I take booking up to 5 years down the line. So if you want to start your wedding preparation please do contact me and we can get you booked in for a wedding consultation tasting.
01 – Consultation
Consultations for wedding cakes cost £25 for one hour, in person. You get to chose 5 flavours from my menu to try at the tasting and go through design ideas together and ask my expertise to make your dream cake come true.
I do offer postal boxes for £32 if you prefer to do an online consultation only.
If you decide I am the cake designer for you and you book me for your special day. The cost of the wedding consultation is deducted from the final cost of your cake.
02 – Booking
If you’re happy with the price range, we will take a 50% booking fee to secure your date, this will be deducted from the final cost of your cake. It is recommended to do this as soon as possible because until then, the date will still be open to other enquiries.
We accept bank transfers and card payments.
For bookings made 1 month or less before the wedding, full payment is required at the time of booking.
03 – Finalising
The final payment will be 1 month before the wedding.
You’ll likely be busy with organising the event so we’ll send a gentle email reminder.
04 – Delivery
Local delivery is free within a 5 mile drive of Heatherside, Surrey.
Delivery cost to locations exceeding this is based on postcode.
We also welcome collections.
